Our sister company Al Hakim holds more than ten million dollars of valves and piping materials in Dubai. This page explains what that covers, how long delivery to Pakistan takes, and what to expect when an item has to come from the factory.
Ex-stock in Dubai
Al Hakim Flow Control Valves LLC runs three warehouses in Dubai with over 100,000 valves and a matching range of flanges, fittings, gaskets and bolting. The stock is built around the sizes, classes and materials that Gulf and Pakistani plants order most, so a typical maintenance or turnaround list can be confirmed from stock line by line.

Delivery to Pakistan
- Order to dispatch: stock items are picked, inspected, documented and packed in Dubai within two to five working days of order confirmation. Modification or actuation adds the workshop time quoted.
- Air freight: Dubai to Karachi in two to three days door to door for urgent and small consignments. Lahore and Islamabad are served via Karachi or direct flights.
- Sea freight: Jebel Ali to Karachi in about two weeks, for heavy and large consignments; LCL for part loads, FCL for project quantities.
- Customs and delivery: AM Enterprises clears customs in Karachi and delivers to site anywhere in Pakistan, with local PKR or USD invoicing. Allow three to five working days for clearance and inland transport.
Put together, an urgent stock item ordered on a Monday is normally at a Karachi site within the same week, and at a Punjab plant the following week.
Factory lead times
When an item is not in stock we quote it from the manufacturer with the lead time stated per line. Typical ranges, which we confirm at quotation:
- Cast gate, globe and check valves, standard grades: 8–14 weeks
- API 6D trunnion ball valves, Class 150–600: 10–16 weeks; Class 900+ and large bore: 16–24 weeks
- Forged API 602 valves, alloy grades: 6–10 weeks
- Triple-offset butterfly valves: 10–16 weeks; large double-flanged water valves: 12–20 weeks
- Actuated packages: valve lead time plus 2–4 weeks for actuator supply and assembly
- Cryogenic, bellows-seal, urea-grade and exotic-alloy valves: 14–24 weeks
- Pipe, fittings and flanges, mill orders: 6–12 weeks
Where the specified item is long-delivery, we say so in the quotation and offer a stock alternative with the same standard and rating wherever one exists, so you can decide early.
Urgent and shutdown orders
Mark the enquiry as urgent and give the date the plant needs the item on site. We check Dubai stock first, then the manufacturers' regional stocks, and quote the fastest route with the freight option priced. For planned turnarounds, send the tag list four to eight weeks ahead and we reserve stock against it.
