Douglas Chero (Piacenza, Italy) specialises in forged steel valves for small-bore piping: gate, globe and check valves to API 602 in Class 800, 1500 and 2500, with socket-weld, threaded and flanged ends, in A105, LF2, F11, F22, F5, F9, F304, F316 and duplex grades. The range includes bellows-sealed globe and gate valves for fugitive-emission service, extended-bonnet cryogenic valves for LNG and gas processing, and pressure-seal valves for high-pressure steam.
Refineries and power stations in Pakistan use Douglas Chero valves on process piping, steam, boiler feed and instrument lines where the piping class calls for an API 602 valve from a European manufacturer. Al Hakim stocks the common Class 800 sizes in A105 and F316 with socket-weld ends; other grades and bellows-seal designs are quoted from the factory.
Each valve is marked with heat number and ships with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, an API 598 test report, certificate of origin (Italy) and, on request, 3.2 certification witnessed by a third-party inspector.

When should I specify a bellows-sealed valve?
On hydrocarbon, toxic or high-value fluids where stem leakage must be eliminated, and wherever the specification calls for ISO 15848 fugitive-emission class. The bellows replaces the packing as the primary seal.
