Pakistan's hydropower programme on the Indus, Jhelum, Swat and Kunhar rivers, its large irrigation and water-supply schemes, and the pumping stations of Karachi and Lahore all depend on large-diameter valves: double-flanged butterfly valves to API 609 and AWWA C504 as turbine inlet and penstock guard valves, gate valves to AWWA C500 and C515 on distribution mains, swing, dual plate and nozzle check valves on pump discharges, and air valves, dismantling joints and expansion joints to complete the station.
We supply double-flanged and lug butterfly valves from 8" to 72" with gear operators or electric actuators from GWC Italia, L&T Valves and 3D Valve; resilient-seated and metal-seated gate valves; non-slam dual plate and tilting-disc check valves for high-head pump discharge; steel pipe to API 5L and flanges to ASME B16.47 and EN 1092 in the large sizes; and the ancillaries, including dismantling joints, strainers and air valves, sourced to your specification.
Large water valves are usually factory orders; we quote with the manufacturer's drawing, the actuator sizing and the hydrostatic test certificate, and arrange third-party inspection at the factory where the contract requires it.

Questions from hydropower & water buyers
Can you supply valves to AWWA standards?
Yes. AWWA C504 butterfly valves, C500 and C515 gate valves and C508 check valves are quoted from manufacturers who build to those standards, with the AWWA test certificates.
Do you supply the electric actuator for a penstock valve?
Yes. The valve is supplied with an electric actuator (Rotork or Auma), sized to the seating torque and supplied with the torque-switch settings and test records.
